Rookies All American Sports Bar and Grill

Rookies Grill is located just 3 miles from Harmony Inn at 12220 Princeton Dr, Huntley, IL 60142 . It is on Illinois Route 47 right across from the Walmart Store. This is a large bar with dozens of large TVs and also patio dining. Indoor seating includes tables and booths. They do not serve breakfast, just lunch and dinner. The bar stays open longer than the kitchen on Sundays. You can dine in, pick up, or order delivery. Orders can be placed online on their website. The last time we ate there they provided popcorn when you sat at your table. They have cruise nights on Thursday (lots of vintage cars in the parking lot.) And half price pizza is offered on Cruise nights. Every day they offer food and drink specials. This is a local franchise restaurant with 6 locations in the Chicago area. This location has video gaming and free WiFi.

Jameson's Restaurant

If you love a great steak, chop or fish, try Jameson's Restaurant located in the club house in Sun city, Del Webb, Huntley. This large restaurant is a favorite of Sun City residents and locals. They also have seating for groups available. The restaurant has large windows looks out over the golf course. It is a great place for large family events.

Visit this new restaurant just 5 miles from Harmony Inn for a family-friendly atmosphere and large selection of food and beverages. It is located in a former car dealership that has been renovated. If you love RV's one of the world's largest RV dealerships is located next door.

Parkside Pub

If you're looking for some top tier finger foods, the Parkside Pub has a ton of great sandwiches, street tacos, and more! The menu also includes full traditional dinners. The Pork Chop Dinner includes 2 pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans and more. We have eaten this ourselves and it was enough food for 2 people. the price as of October 2022 for this dinner is $20.95. The kitchen is open until 9:00 PM on Sunday. They have specials every day. On Sunday the special is wings, regular or boneless. Few places have as diverse of a menu as here, so if you have a big group with different palates, this is the place to be! Every November they have the Turkey Testical Festival which is a hugely popular event with live bands and real turkey testicles to eat. Tickets go on sale in October. This festival is known far and wide due to the special cuisine. They also have a huge tent put up in the center of Huntley with live bands all night. Just witnessing this is a core memory.

Parkside Pub

If you're looking for some top tier finger foods, the Parkside Pub has a ton of great sandwiches, street tacos, and more! Few places have as diverse of a menu as here, so if you have a big group with different palates, this is the place to be!

D. C. Cobbs, Huntley

Newly opened in 2024, D. C Cobbs specializes in burgers, with your choice of just about any protein, and a unique name. This restaurant has two main sections, the first area includes a bar and table seating, the second area is a quieter area of tables surrounded by booth seating. They boost a fully homemade menu. You can eat at the in-house, order for delivery, or order for pick-up. Personally, I really enjoy their soup offerings for a lighter fare. They are located just off the town square on the ground level floor of the tallest building in town.

Village Inn

Located on the town square, a longtime favorite restaurant is the Village Inn. Just 2 miles from Harmony Inn, this place has a huge menu with a large variety of items. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. The original owner has recently passed but the new owners are revitalizing the menu and having great success. Access is available from the square or park in the rear.

Tacos Locos

We often enjoy the tasty Mexican style food at this place. My favorite is the Fajita with 2 choices of meat. They offer a full drink menu. While the seating indoor is limited, the food is worth the wait. They also offer delivery. Tacos Locos is on the west side of Route 47 across from Walmart.
